Woodcut, 1914, small edition. 9 1/4 x 10 3/4 in. Signed and dated on the original support sheet, lower right. A brilliant impression on china paper. Trimmed along the borderline as originally designed. Fine condition. This stunning, early print was done the year before the artist moved to Provincetown, MA. McMillen, who worked exclusively in black and white, is included in From Paris to Provincetown: Blanche Lazzell and the Color Woodcut (2002) by Barbara Stern Shapiro.      SOLD
