The condition is generally very good apart from slight overall toning to the sheet and a repaired tear in the top margin outside of the image. This is a rare "bon à tirer" proof inscribed in ink "certifie conform" and dated by the printer, Destouches. This entertaining print is from the series Croquis Parisiens.

The margins are full and the condition is excellent. This work is from the celebrated series called Le Public du Salon. Daumier loved depicting art gallery and museum subjects.

The condition is excellent. This, the fifth state, was printed by Delâtre and published by Cadart & Luquet for the the Société des Aquafortistes (June, 1867). A painting and drawing exists of this subject and the copperplate is now in the Bibliothèque Nationale.
